Currently, CopilotCRM’s tax report groups multiple cities under the same tax rate, making it difficult for members to accurately report taxes by city. Members are required to manually filter invoices by city and calculate taxable amounts, which is time-consuming and prone to errors. This becomes especially critical for compliance and audit purposes. Problem / Pain Points: The current tax report groups cities with the same tax rate together, instead of separating them by individual city. Members must manually: Search invoices by date range. Filter by customer address containing a specific city. Calculate taxable amounts manually. This manual process is long, repetitive, and may lead to incomplete or inaccurate data. The issue affects audits and accurate tax reporting, particularly in states like Washington where tax reporting by city is required. Desired Outcome / Feature Enhancement: Provide an option in the tax report to break down taxes by city, showing each city separately, even if multiple cities share the same tax rate. Include both city and county for clarity where applicable. Ensure that the report provides complete data for all invoices within the selected date range. Optional: Allow exporting the city-specific tax data to CSV for easier reconciliation. Workarounds Currently Used (Painful / Inefficient): Filtering invoices by date range and city manually. Calculating taxable amounts by subtracting totals. Repeating this process for each city monthly. Impact: Reduces manual labor and risk of errors. Ensures accurate tax reporting and audit compliance. Saves members significant time and frustration. Member's Feedback: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1icZDP70iwX1LjMTXiyjUQ0F-pv7nYUon/view?usp=sharing
