My weekly mowing customers already know we come the same day every week, so the "Before a Visit Happens" reminder is redundant for them. But I still want it for irregular services like fert/weed rounds, aeration, and grub/lime/nutsedge. Those aren't on a fixed schedule and customers do need the heads up.
I can't find a way to do this:
  1. The Legacy automation trigger can't be filtered by job title/service type.
  2. Sequence Automations don't have a "Before a Visit Happens" (time before event) trigger at all - only event completion triggers.
  3. Disabling the automation per customer doesn't work for mixed service customers. Many of mine get both weekly mowing AND seasonal fert/aeration. Disabling the reminder to stop mowing texts also kills it for their fert/aeration visits, since the toggle is scoped to the customer + automation, not the specific service.
Request: let me scope "Before a Visit Happens" by job title, service/item type, or tag. Either add that filtering to the legacy trigger, add the time before event trigger to Sequence Automations, or make the per customer toggle scoped by job type instead of all or nothing.
This seems like a common need for any recurring-service business (lawn care, pool, pest control) with both fixed-schedule and variable-schedule visits for the same customer.
