I’d like the option to schedule fertilizing program applications within specific date ranges instead of only choosing a day interval between applications.
Coming from Service Autopilot, we organize each step around its seasonal application window. Having this option in HomeWorks would make our calendar easier to manage and keep customers on the correct step for the time of year.
Here’s the workflow I’d like to see:
Set a date range for each step. Each application would have its own start and end date rather than relying on an interval from the previous service.
Start new customers at the next available step. If someone signs up for a six-step program after the first three application windows have passed, they would start with Step 4. Steps 1–3 would be skipped and would not remain on the waitlist.
Automatically place future applications on the waitlist. Those jobs would be organized by their application windows, ready to schedule when that period arrives.
Schedule neighborhoods directly from a map. When an application window opens, we could select the eligible jobs, display them on a map, and draw around a neighborhood to select and schedule those properties together. Then we could repeat that process for other neighborhoods on the following days.
This would help us keep applications within the proper seasonal windows, avoid clutter from missed steps, and build more efficient routes without manually sorting through every customer’s schedule.
